The Panzer P1000 and P1500 are fictional super-heavy tanks that were part of a hoax created by a German engineer named Krupp during World War II. The hoax was intended to mislead the Allies about the development of massive tanks by the Germans. These tanks were never more than a concept and were never realized beyond the propaganda created by the Germans. **

Yes, the Panzer P1000 Ratte was considered a sign of Hitler's megalomania. The sheer size and impracticality of the tank, which was never actually built, reflected Hitler's grandiose and unrealistic ambitions for military superiority. The design of the Ratte was far beyond what was necessary for actual combat, indicating Hitler's obsession with creating awe-inspiring weapons rather than focusing on practical military strategy. Overall, the Panzer P1000 Ratte serves as a symbol of Hitler's megalomania and his detachment from reality. **
